Born in a small northeast Ohio town of immigrants and factories surrounded by farmland, Karl Hiltner lived and worked as an international finance manager in the United States, Mexico, Hungary, the UK, Germany, among other places, living 7 expatriate years in Europe. Now he is a writer who splits his time between Europe and America, having collected stories along the way. He holds a degree in English Literature from The Ohio State University, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa. He is a writer of short stories and novels.
